I almost broke through to the fifth dimension
but the sky cracked and the universe collapsed
and I was thrusted back into my vessel
my eyes opened
the room was dim
He sat on my chest
His hands cuffed my wrists
I couldn’t breathe
I couldn’t scream
my heart turned weak
my limbs rendered useless.
He lurks in the dark spaces of my room
and the broken figment of my life.
He watches, he waits.
ties me down and threatens to take my soul
if I don’t leave it in it’s place.
