Break-up Basics: the stages of Post-Relationship Madness (and how to get through them)

So,  it’s over.

A chapter of your life has been shut. No matter how short or long, or who pulled the trigger, it’s done.

I read a book once that explained how in big life changes there is loss, and with that loss comes a necessary grieving process.

I believe this to be even more true when it comes to break ups: it’s a monumental shift in your life and as you do with the death of a loved one, you must grieve.

In this series of blog posts I’d like to share with you my own personal grieving process in the wake of a dead relationship – my strategies and my stumbles as I climb out of my own personal emotional hell hole, one coping strategy at a time.
